This stat shows exactly why the Thorpe Award list makes no sense

This is pretty egregious.

The Jim Thorpe Award is given out to the best cornerback in the country every year, but this year's semifinalist list is pretty much a joke. While it has 16 good candidates on it, it is missing two great ones in Jalen Tabor and Quincy Wilson.

RELATED: The Jim Thorpe Award semifinalist list has at least one egregious omission

Tabor has a pick-six to go with three other picks on the year, but his secondary teammate has been even better.

Yet, neither are on the Jim Thorpe semifinalist list. This is why college football can't have nice things.
