On Wednesday, former Heisman-winning quarterback Tim Tebow spoke to the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime and Federal Government Surveillance about child exploitation.

The goal of his speech was to discuss the child sex abuse crisis, and he wants Congress to take a strong stance on it.
"If all we do today is speak, all I do is speak, I also missed the mark," Tebow said. "We have to do more than just talk about it. We have to act on it and be about it."
Later in his speech, Tebow read a letter from a seven-year-old girl, and fans online praise him for being adamant about this issue.
"Almost every night, she got raped," Tebow said. "In the middle of her abuse, this is what she writes: Rescue me, help me, monsters are chasing. Can't you see? Monsters are whispering. Can't you hear? Monsters are shouting, you are nothing, can't you feel my pain? Can someone please rescue me?"

Identifying and rescuing these children is so much more than policy. Policy is important, but our focus has to stay on people. They deserve our best because God set the example and gave His very best, His son Jesus," Tebow wrote on X.

Tebow is the founder of the Tim Tebow Foundation. The organization was founded in 2010 and has "served those who are hurting, marginalized, and trapped in darkness in 86 countries and counting."
Perhaps there's a government position waiting in Tebow's future.
