Four-star Florida commit T.J. Moore hints that Jim McElwain could be making a huge hire soon

This is finally some good news for these guys.

There have been some concerns amidst pretty disappointing recruiting going on in Gainesville for Jim McElwain and his staff. That might have something to do with him being down two assistant coaches so late in the season and not replacing them quickly. Most notably, offensive line coach Mike Summer left for Louisville to take the same position so that has been a glaring concern for the Gators and their potential recruits.

However, four-star offensive guard T.J. Moore has assured Florida that he is still going to be a Gator and even hinted at a huge reason why. In an interview with SEC Country, Moore said a few things that would suggest McElwain has his new offensive line coach, but just hasn't announced it.

"We talked about the offensive line coach and I think Coach Mac knows who it's going to be," Moore said. "He just can't tell me or can't release it but he said that the coach would be like the rest of the coaching staff and would be a great person. There's a lot he said, but I'm not sure if I can say everything."

Moore has remained committed to the Gators because of his relationship with the rest of the staff and offensive coordinator Doug Nussmeier in particular. The coach is expected to go for an in-home visit with Moore this week. The lineman is even trying to enroll in May rather than June as part of the first summer session, likely trying to get time in the weight room and with the staff as early as possible.
