Former Florida Gators cornerback Deiondre Porter was sentenced to six years in prison after pleading guilty to armed robbery.
Porter was arrested in April after the robbery of a T-Mobile store in Jacksonville, Florida. The 20-year-old Porter was sentenced to state prison as a youthful offender according to TampaBay.com and Duval County court records.

Porter was a member of Florida's 2014 signing class as a three-star recruit. He redshirted his freshman year before contributing on special teams during the 2015 season.
In October of 2015, Porter was arrested after he was accused of firing a handgun around his pregnant girlfriend in Gainesville. He was then dismissed from the football team. Porter also faces felony charges of armed robbery and kidnapping to commit or facilitate commission of a felony.
Porter's next court date is scheduled for April 13.
