Former Alabama quarterback Blake Sims' NFL dream became one step closer to fruition Tuesday. Sims struggled to catch on at quarterback in the NFL and the CFL, so Sims decided to work out and try to make an NFL roster at the running back position instead. It had been reported that Sims worked out for several teams over the past week and Tuesday Sims was officially signed to the Atlanta Falcons practice squad.

Congrats to Blake Sims, hopefully he will be able to stick at running back and eventually make the Falcons active roster.
