Former Alabama star quarterback Jake Coker finds himself potentially looking for a team after he was released by the Arizona Cardinals Monday. Coker was waived with an injured designation, meaning he could be moved to the Cardinals' reserve/injured list or benefit from an injury settlement from the Cardinals if no other NFL team picks up him up during the 24-hour waiver period.
After leading the Crimson Tide to the national championship last season Coker went undrafted in the NFL draft before being signed as a free agent by the Cardinals. Coker has seen limited preseason action for the Cardinals while battling a sore knee.
