The recruitment of Jalyn Armour-Davis has had a few twists and turns. As recently as late February, Armour-Davis revealed a (very) interesting top six list that produced quite a reaction in the college football world. Since then, though, things have changed drastically and even in late May, there was some uncertainty as to when his announcement would be coming.

Now, though, a report from Andrew Bone of Rivals indicates that the teams waiting for the young man's decision will not be waiting much longer.
Jayln Armour-Davis, four-star cornerback from St. Paul's Episcopal School in Mobile, Alabama, will announce his college decision on Friday. Armour-Davis will announce his commitment between Alabama, Auburn and Florida State around 12:30 p.m via his Twitter account.
The report also indicates a sentiment that Alabama "has suddenly emerged as a major contender" and this is a surprise given that the Crimson Tide were not prominently involved even a few weeks ago. Still, the final trio of Alabama, Auburn and Florida State is not a surprise, simply because ruling out Nick Saban in a recruiting battle would never be a wise decision.
Armour-Davis currently ranks as a top-100 prospect according to 247Sports and there is plenty of intrigue with regard to his announcement. Stay tuned.
