Four-star RB Khalan Laborn down to three schools, to announce decision Saturday

The Virginia Beach native is the No. 1 ranked all-purpose back in the 2017 class.

Four-star tailback Khalan Laborn (5-foot-10, 199 pounds, Virginia Beach, Va.) is down to his three final schools. At Nike's The Opening in Beaverton, Oreg. Laborn told 247Sports that his decision will be between Florida State, Auburn and Virginia Tech. Laborn, the No. 1 ranked all-purpose running back in the country according to 247Sports, may be favoring Florida State going off of his latest quote regarding his recruiting process.

"I've got family in Florida and there is just something about the 'Noles." Laborn said. My favorite player, Deion Sanders, went there."

Laborn added that Tech 's proximity to his hometown keeps them in the running, and Auburn has been recruiting him hard since the beginning of his recruiting process. 247Sports has him as a 100% lock to land in Tallahassee, but he told the outlet that his commitment will be a big surprise.

"I don't know what time, but it is going to be a shocker," Laborn said via 247 of his announcement, which is coming Saturday. "It is going to be a shocker."
