Aaron Hernandez's fiance speaks out, and provides a stunning detail on his suicide

She breaks her silence.

At first, she thought it was a hoax. Now, she still doesn't believe Aaron Hernandez killed himself.

In her first remarks, Shayanna Jenkins-Hernandez told Dr. Phil, in a two-part interview to air May 15 and 16 that someone was playing a cruel joke:

"I thought it was a hoax, that this was some cruel person playing a trick on me," Jenkins-Hernandez said of receiving the phone call that Hernandez was dead.

Jenkins-Hernandez testified in both of her finance's murder trials.

Aaron Hernandez killed him in jail a few days after being found not guilty in the killings of two Boston men. He was still serving a life sentence for killing his friend, Odin Lloyd.
