There's few things as meaningless as a preseason Top 25 poll. The Associated Press rolled its preseason Top 25 poll Sunday with four of the top five spots occupied by teams that played in last year's College Football Playoff.

Coming in at No. 9 is the Georgia Bulldogs. That should be pretty pleasing to Georgia fans considering what a mess the quarterback situation is currently. I've seen Georgia ranked anywhere from No. 7 to No. 15, so starting the season at No. 9 seems fair, if not generous, as well as being a great place to begin a trek into the top four.
Personally I think USC is getting a lot of love without much to show for it, but again there's no reason to overact to a preseason poll.
The poll features eight ranked teams from the SEC, of which only four are Bulldogs opponents this season. That includes a three-game October stretch against No. 3 Alabama, No. 25 Tennessee, and No. 24 Missouri in October. Georgia will also play No. 16 Georgia Tech on the road in the final game of the season.
If you didn't realize it before, Georgia will have one tough schedule in 2015.
