On Saturday, Georgia got that win back, and more.
The No. 6 Bulldogs claimed the SEC Championship with a 28-7 win over No. 2 Auburn in the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and the win will likely propel Georgia into a spot in the College Football Playoff. The Playoff will officially be announced on Sunday at 12PM on ESPN.
This game was very much a reversal of Auburn's 40-17 win in Jordan-Hare on Nov. 11. After Auburn scored first, the Tigers then had a chance to make it a two-score game as their second drive reached the red zone. However, Georgia forced a fumble to stop Auburn's momentum, and nearly everything went the Bulldogs' way as they dominated the remainder of the contest.
Auburn’s opening drive: 10 plays, 75 yards, 1 TD
Auburn’s next 7 drives: 40 plays, 166 yards, 4 punts, 2 turnovers, 1 blocked FG

Georgia's win comes after Oklahoma beat TCU 41-17 in the Big 12 Championship Game. Both teams likely locked up their spots in the College Football Playoff with those wins. The remaining spots all depend on the ACC and Big Ten title games, as well as what happens with Alabama sitting at No. 5 in the Playoff rankings with only one loss this season.
Georgia moves to 12-1 on the season, and clinches their first SEC title since 2005. Auburn moves to 10-3, but is still looking at a potential spot in a New Year's Six bowl game.
