Georgia freshman defensive back Chad Clay's career is over before it began. The true freshman from Suwanee, Georgia has been dismissed following his second arrest since arriving on summer.

The early enrollee was arrested once already for firing off a BB gun in the dorms along with fellow true freshman Julian Rochester.
Georgia head coach Kirby Smart announced the news of Clay's dismissal Wednesday:
"Unfortunately, Chad will no longer be a part of our football program" Smart said in a statement. "It is very disappointing, and we wish him the best in his efforts to continue his education."
The reason he was kicked off the team is what will really piss off some Bulldogs fans though. He stole a pair of Apple earbuds that have a retail value of $30. Apparently, this is how the incident occurred:
The incident that led to Clay's arrest occurred on June 20. Clay was accused of stealing an unattended pair of Apple headphones at the university's Ramsey Student Center. The headphones are valued at $30. The incident is listed on the UGA police department's online log.
That is an incredibly disappointing and dumb way for anyone —- especially a student-athlete already under scrutiny for a past arrest —- to get dismissed from a program.
Clay was a three-star prospect who chose the Dawgs over Clemson, Tennessee, Oklahoma, LSU and Ohio State among others.
