The Georgia Bulldogs will be without one of its football players after they have been medically disqualified. 247Sports first reported that UGA offensive lineman Mirko Jurkovic has been medically disqualified from the team. Jurkovic suffered a knee injury during spring, and he reportedly re-injured that same knee recently, which has caused his football career to come to an end.

"According to persons with knowledge of the situation," 247Sports reports, "Jurkovic suffered a similar injury to his other knee this spring, forcing him to bring his football career to an end before ever playing a down for the Bulldogs. The details of either knee injury are not yet known at this time."
Jurkovic was originally an Ohio State signee in 2015, Jurkovic but he failed to be admitted to OSU that summer and chose to sign with the Bulldogs after an official visit. The disqualification will certainly hurt the Bulldogs along the offensive line from a depth standpoint. We will continue to update this story if it continues to develops.
