Georgia to restrict transfer on RB A.J. Turman

Restrictions on a guy that never even saw the field?

It was announced on Wednesday that Georgia running back A.J. Turman — a former four-star recruit — would be transferring from the program. Well, even though Turman never actually played a game for the Bulldogs in three years, he will still have restrictions placed on his transfer.

Eventually, Turman received an email informing him that he was free to transfer to any school in Florida other than Miami — where Richt is now the head coach — and Florida, an SEC rival.

It's not too much of a restriction, and in the grand scheme of things, those two schools make sense. However, since Turman was such a rarely used player with the Bulldogs, this may seem a little harsh to some people.

Either way, hopefully Turman will get an actual chance to play with the next school he chooses.
