While Georgia's season hasn't exactly gone as planned this season with the team sitting at 5-4 with losses to rivals Tennessee and Florida this season. The Bulldogs still have games against Louisiana-Lafayette, Auburn and Georgia Tech to finish the season and that means more opportunities for Jacob Eason to make his way into the record books.
With his 245 passing yards against Kentucky, Eason now has 1,754 on the season. While that number may not seem like a lot, it's now more than the 1,749 passing yards that the legendary Matthew Stafford had in his freshman season.
With those three games left —- plus a potential bowl game —- Eason is 682 yards away from passing Chris Leak for second among true freshman SEC quarterbacks since 1996, and 731 yards away from passing Quincy Carter for the top spot.
