The Georgia Bulldogs just signed a recruiting class during the Early Signing Period that most college football programs could only dream of. Head coach Kirby Smart even inked a pair of quarterbacks for 2019. However, there's one four-star signal caller who has yet to sign, and he decided to go viral all on his own.
Instead of signing his National Letter of Intent, Oak Grove (MS) quarterback John Rhys Plumlee was busy using his hands to play the piano and sing Billy Joel's "Piano Man" like nobody's business. The 6-foot-1 dual threat quarterback certainly has some major skills off the gridiron and DawgNation reporter Jeff Sentell shared the piano player's musical talent on social media.
Having an interest outside of football is nothing new, but this is certainly unique. It would be hard to find any star high school football player that can sing and play the piano as well as Plumlee.

A four-star quarterback from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Plumlee chose the Bulldogs over other SEC offers from the Alabama Crimson Tide, Auburn Tigers, Florida Gators, Mississippi State Bulldogs and Ole Miss Rebels. He also held several other high-major offers across the country.
Although Plumlee, the No. 7 dual-threat QB in the country, committed in June, he elected not to sign his NLI and will wait until National Signing Day in February to either ink with Georgia in Athens or take his talents somewhere else next season.
For now, Smart has secured four-star pro-style quarterback Dwane Mathis from Oak Park, Michigan and Jones County Junior College (MS) signal caller Stetson Bennet IV for the 2019 class.
Making sure John Rhys Plumlee signs will definitely be a priority while the Bulldogs figure out how to move forward when starter Jake Fromm leaves and now that true freshman Justin Fields is looking to transfer out of the UGA program.
If anyone needs to find Plumlee, the nearest piano might be the best place to start.
