Startling report has Athens police investigating talented Georgia punt returner for alleged death threat

In the most shocking report out of Georgia this season, Athens-Clarke County police said Tuesday that Bulldogs wide receiver and standout punt returner Isaiah McKenzie is under investigation after being accused of directing death threats at a fellow UGA student.

According to OnlineAthens, the female student told police that McKenzie told her he was "going to call some friends and they were going to come out and he was going to kill her."

The four UGA football players listed in the report, according to OnlineAthens are: safety Dominick Sanders, wide receiver Terry Godwin, linebacker D'Andre Walker, and safety Jarvis Wilson.

McKenzie returned a punt in the Vanderbilt game 77 yards for a touchdown, leaving one punt return touchdown away from Georgia's career record of four held by Buzy Rosenberg (1970-72).
