It's a pretty well known fact that former Nick Saban assistant coaches struggle against him when they meet head-to-head. However, when comparing former Saban assistant Kirby Smart, he seems to be doing just fine and has even managed to do something at Georgia in two years that Saban hasn't done in a decade at Alabama.

Georgia has won its first four SEC games by 25 or more points for the first time in its history. It's also a feat Saban hasn't attained.

Georgia has beaten up on a weak SEC East, but has also gotten a nice win over SEC West opponent Mississippi State this year. While the Bulldogs are putting up a ridiculous amount of points, the defense has also been solid, allowing them to outscore those SEC opponents 170-45.
Georgia has a bye this week and will face Florida the next weekend, which could determine if they'll make a trip to Atlanta for the SEC Championship. They also have to face permanent SEC West rival Auburn who has been pretty solid so far this season.
