Nick Chubb -- the third UGA running back to receive national recognition

Georgia's three main running backs — Todd Gurley, Sony Michel and Nick Chubb have all received awards this season.

On Monday, Chubb was named the SEC co-freshman of the week. He shares the honor with Florida Gators cornerback Jalen Tabor.

Against Vanderbilt, Chubb rushed eight times for 78 yards and one score. He also did that with a broken thumb. It's very obvious that we won't be questioning the freshman's toughness in a Bulldogs uniform anytime soon.

For the season, the Bulldogs back has rushed 31 times for 224 yards and two touchdowns.

Chubb and the Dawgs square off against the Missouri Tigers this Saturday.
