No. 5 overall recruit and Georgia commit hints at possible flip this summer

This sounds like his recruitment is heating up.

Nolan Smith is ranked as the No. 5 overall recruit in the country and the No. 3 weak side defensive end by 247Sports for the class of 2019. He's been committed to Georgia since January, but there is plenty of time left before he signs his Letter of Intent to change his mind.

It sounds like a couple other schools are getting close to flipping him or at least make him reconsider Georgia. He told 247Sports that there are another two schools along with the Dawgs that are recruiting him the hardest.

"It's between Georgia, Alabama, and Clemson recruiting me the hardest," Smith said.

The 6'3", 223-pound defensive end also named a couple things he really liked about Clemson and that was the caliber of players the school puts into the NFL as well as the culture of the program. Smith just transferred to the IMG Academy in Florida from his school in Savannah, Ga. He also holds offers from Florida, LSU and Florida State among a few others.
