Four-star defensive tackle Rashad Cheney has announced his decommitment from Georgia.
The 2019 prospect is the No. 13 defensive tackle in his class according to 247Sports, and he said he wanted to take some time to ensure he makes the right choice.
"Just needed the time to make the right decision," Cheney said via Dawg Nation. "This is a life decision."

"It was a very hard decision," Cheney said. "No visits had anything to do with my decision. But if UGA still recruits me, I will still give them a look. Penn State and Tennessee are making a big push."
The 6'3, 270-pound prospect is the No. 22 player from Georgia in the Class of 2019.
The 247Sports Crystal Ball still projects Cheney to commit to Georgia, but South Carolina is also in the mix. Cheney also has offers from Alabama, Florida, and Kentucky among others.
