The Opening at Nike headquarters in Oregon has seen a bevy of commitments take place and it was no different Sunday night when four-star offensive lineman Andrew Thomas made his decision. The Atlanta, Ga. native decided to stay in-state with is commitment:

It turns out that Thomas actually knew ahead of time, but wanted to take advantage of some timing to make his announcement.
"I decided a few weeks ago and I figured this was a great opportunity," Thomas said, according to Jake Reuse of UGA Sports. "Where else to do it but on ESPN?"

That's a good point and he joins five-star running back Toneil Carter in next year's class as guys who committed at The Opening. The commitments over the weekend pushed the Dawgs up to No. 2 in the recruiting rankings.
