Throwback Thursday: AJ Green scores two TDs, Georgia puts up 52 points on Arkansas

This game was nothing short of exciting. The two teams combined for 1,015 yards of offense back in 2009. No. 23 Georgia was going through a transition period. This game was Joe Cox's third game as Matthew Stafford's successor, and man, Cox balled out.

The Bulldogs QB threw for 375 yards and five touchdowns against the Razorbacks defense. Cox had tied the school record for most touchdown passes in a game.

AJ Green torched the Hogs' D. Green had seven receptions, 137 yards and two touchdowns.

In his SEC debut for the Razorbacks, QB Ryan Mallet also threw for five touchdowns, but he had more yards than Cox — 408.

But in the end, Georgia got the most important stat — the W. The Dawgs beat the Hogs 52-41 in a crazy shootout.
