Freshman Missouri running back has the most up and down day ever

Missouri running back Damarea Crockett set school records for most rushing yards by a freshman in a single game and in a season Saturday against Tennessee.

Several hours later, the native of Little Rock, Ark. was arrested for possession of marijuana. Police said Crockett was picked up in Columbia at 4:17 a.m.

According to school officials, Crockett's arrest means he'll be suspended Friday when the Tigers host Arkansas.

Crockett rushed for 225 yards and a touchdown in a 63-37 loss to the Vols, giving him 1,062 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns on the season. The loss drops Missouri to 3-8 overall and 1-6 in the SEC East.
