We're just a little less than two months away from one of the biggest games of the 2016 college football season — Florida State facing Ole Miss from the Camping World Stadium in Orlando Fla. on Labor Day evening. The game, dubbed the Camping World Kickoff caps off an incredible weekend of opening games, but it's also a matchup between formidable powers from both the SEC and ACC conferences. These ACC-SEC matchups in the beginning of the season have increased in the last few years— the Chick-Fil-A Kickoff classic pits two teams from these conferences together each year in Atlanta, Ga.
But there are some who aren't too pleased with the location of Ole Miss-FSU, and that's none other than Rebels head coach Hugh Freeze, who spoke about the matchup during SEC Media Days in Hoover, Ala. Freeze stated that it may not exactly be fair to call it a "neutral site game" given the proximity of Orlando to Tallahassee — roughly four hours away.
Freeze and his quarterback — senior Chad Kelly who threw for 4,042 yards and 31 touchdowns last season — also added that they are not taking this game lightly, and they're already making plans on how to get ready for the crowd noise from Orlando.
The Camping World Kickoff will start at 8:00 p.m. and air on ESPN. The game announced a couple weeks ago that they already have sold out all its tickets. It will certainly be like a home game for Florida State in Central Florida.
