Without much reasoning necessary, the three top-ranked games of the year are when the three SEC teams ranked in the top 10 (Alabama, Auburn and Georgia) play one another throughout the season.
In my mind the most surprising ranking is the fact that No. 14 LSU at No. 3 Alabama on Nov. 7 isn't higher on the list — it's at No. 7. The last time these two heated rivals competed, Alabama won in overtime in a game that could have gone either way. To me this is one of the most important games of the SEC season.
Alabama leads all SEC teams with four games in the rankings, while No. 6 Auburn and No. 9 Georgia both have three.
With this much in-conference competition and eight teams ranked in the Preseason AP Top 25 you can be sure that the toughest conference in the nation will be an absolute dogfight to win again this season. For the full list visit HERE.
