It's the simple things that can make us happiest.
During a team meeting, Kevin Sumlin, coy as ever, told the team they'd be watching a short video before splitting up for the day. Little did the team know, they'd be recognizing two of their own, who have played well enough for the Aggies to earn full scholarships after being walk-ons.
Senior running back Brice Dolezal and junior wide receiver Boone Niederhofer are now a part of the lucky few who walk on and receive scholarships. It's a pretty awesome thing to see, especially considering college isn't cheap. That's a few thousand dollars they can save, while continuing to produce for A&M.
Dolezal had 104 yards on 15 carries, including the 41-yard TD run featured in the video in 2014.
Niederhofer caught 29 balls for 293 yards with one score last season.
