Before Alabama lined up to face USC Saturday night in Arlington Texas, Bama offensive coordinator and former USC head coach Lane Kiffin was asked how he felt about going up against the team that fired him. His was response was pretty typical, "I know it sounds strange; I really have not thought a lot about it, I'm sure there will be some different feelings and emotions."

Few truly believed that at the time and Kiffin's emotions along the sidelines of Bama's 52-6 win seemed to betray his true feelings about the matchup. If there were any further doubts Kiffin destroy them with one single tweet.

It may look innocent enough, until you realize that USC fired Kiffin at 3:14AM on the LAX tarmac.
This is pure gold. Kiffin posts pic of game ball with the time USC fired him at LAX hashtagged. https://t.co/yTmqhYBlZl

Think that tarmac firing at LAX might have crossed @Lane_Kiffin's mind maybe once or twice last week while preparing for USC?

It's safe to say that this win meant a little bit more than most for Kiffin.
