You'd think an undefeated number one team in the nation would get a little respect, not we the Alabama-LSU game is on the line. The Tide have been dominating thier opponents with good running, suffocating defense and a brilliant Jalen Hurts. LSU defensive back Dwayne Thomas doesn't care about any of that.
"I really see us dominating this offense. I really see us dominating this team," Thomas said Wednesday, per Ross Dellenger of the Advocate. He added: This is the year. We've been letting them off the hook for the last couple of years. This is my senior year. We're going out with a bang. It's time for us to bring that win back. We're going to be at home. I feel like we have the edge to take it to them, and we're going to take it to them. I feel like we're going to dominate this game."
Wow. LSU has been letting Bama off the hook? LSU is going to dominate? Thomas clearly hasn't been paying attention the last few years. Alabama has crushed everyone in their path and you wouldn't think that Thomas or anyone would want to poke the bear, but he doesn't even care saying,
"If that helps motivate them, so be it."
Wow. I think it just might.
