Kelvin Joseph is the No. 3 cornerback in the country according to 247Sports and the top recruit in the state of Louisiana. Joseph committed to LSU about five months ago and since then has earned a five-star rating in the class of 2018. Upon receiving the new rating he also got a bevy of new offers from the powerhouses like Alabama, Notre Dame and Ole Miss.

The 6'1", 185-pound safety is a big, physical corner that can slow down any opposing wide receiver at the point of attack. He excels in press coverage but has also worked at other positions in the secondary and in other styles of coverage. That's why he got the bump in rating and the offers.
Joseph says that although it's nice to have the other offers he's not really interested in any programs that aren't LSU. "I looked into it, but I'm still committed to LSU," Joseph told SEC Country. "That's my No. 1 school, but it's good have other options."
Sorry, Alabama and Ole Miss, but it looks like the Tigers have a pretty strong hold on this Louisiana product.
