As SEC Country points out, if the Tigers make a run to the College Football Playoffs, Fournette could conceivably take down Barry Sanders' record 2,628-yard season on the ground.

15 games: Average of 175.3 yards
14 games: Average of 187.7 yards
13 games: Average of 202.2 yards
12 games: Average of 219.1 yards
Fournette averaged 162.75 yards per game last season despite totaling just 31 yards on the ground in a stinker against Alabama. That games would put LSU in a bowl game, while 14 would mean the Tigers made the SEC Championship game and a bowl game or College Football Playoff game.
He's got a chance, albeit an outside one.
