LSU interim head coach Ed Orgeron will take over as the head man for the Tigers this week against Missouri ahead of a tough slate in three of the next five games (against Florida, Ole Miss and Alabama).

And while the LSU head coaching search likely won't slow anytime soon, ESPN's Desmond Howard noted that he could see Coach O possibly swaying those making the decisions for the Tigers if he can beat Alabama.
That would be an absolute stunner, as aside for a half against Ole Miss, Alabama has looked utterly unbeatable this year.

It would be a huge testament to Orgeron's coaching ability, as well as the inability of former head coach Les Miles to get the most out of his team following losses to lowly Auburn and a solid Wisconsin team.
