While most schools are focused on the class of 2017, some are trying to get ahead on 2018, but LSU is changing the game with a commitment from five-star football and baseball recruit Maurice Hampton. He's not only a top tier two-sport athlete, but he's only a sophomore in high school as part of the class of 2019.

The 5'11", 190-pound defensive back is the No. 3 prospect for high school baseball in his class and is expected to be highly rated by the recruiting services when rankings for his class come out.
