With a stacked depth chart working against him, former LSU offensive lineman Jonah Austin recently decided to transfer. Just a week after earning his degree in interdisciplinary studies, the 6-foot-6, 330-pound athlete has now decided where he's going to use his last year of eligibility, according to a report by Jim Kleinpeter.

Austin will be a member of the Nicholls State Colonels, an FCS school that is just 67 miles from Baton Rouge in Thibodaux, La. He is eligible to play this season and has already started practicing with the team, according to Kleinpeter.
The former Tiger was a career backup at LSU and is just looking for a chance to get on the field with what's left of his eligibility. With his size and the talent that at the very least led to a scholarship from an SEC school, Austin should see plenty of playing time with the Colonels.
