Former LSU and Pittsburgh Steelers' safety Ryan Clark joined the Paul Finebaum Show on Monday, and naturally the two discussed the state of LSU football.

Clark, who played at LSU from 1998-2001, made it known he was not a fan of former head coach Les Miles.

Clark later added "There has been somewhat of a disconnect between former players and the program during Les Miles' time." He said Miles was never a part of the culture or community in Baton Rouge, but he felt like new interim coach Ed Orgeron is "one of us."
It should be noted that Clark finished his career at LSU under Nick Saban, so it would make sense if Miles didn't reach out to former Saban players while Saban was coaching a division rival. Many former Miles players, including Jacob Hester, were supportive of the coach after he was fired.
