LSU fans may soon have reason to rejoice.
Andrew Chatfield, a coveted four-star defensive end and outside linebacker, expects to name his top-five schools in the next few months, but the 2018 recruit already has one at the top of his list: The Tigers.
He told 247 (subscription required) that he speaks to LSU regularly and is impressed with its coaching staff.
Still, he plans on taking other visits "I want to take all my visits and then I will let everyone know. I have to see Alabama, I will visit Florida again and I will probably see Louisville and Oregon," he told 247.
He said the teams recruiting him the hardest are Alabama, Ohio State, LSU and Oregon.
247 ranks the 6-foot-2, 221 pound, class of 2018 recruit as the No, 14 weak side defensive end in the country, and the No. 48 overall prospect in his home state, Florida. The 247 Crystal Ball says LSU is a lock to sign Chatfield, with the Tigers' chances at 100 percent.
