Fournette not only shed weight, but 'destroyed' his conditioning test according to LSU coach

Sounds like he's ready to put the team on his back.

LSU coach Les Miles is one of the biggest fans of his own running back in Leonard Fournette, but that doesn't mean he won't tell him what he thinks he can do to get better. Miles said a few weeks back that he thought the monster back could lose some pounds to be even better.

While that seems like a ridiculous demand, Fournette took it to heart got absolutely ripped. At least that's what this Instagram post might suggest:

Tommy Moffitt is the Tigers' strength and conditioning coordinator and he said the star back 'destroyed' his recent conditioning test while appearing as a guest on the Culotta and the Prince show on ESPN Radio in Baton Rouge.

"I know Leonard gets a lot of press about his weight and all that. But our fan base can rest assured that the big man came out this morning and destroyed it. (Fournette) for his size, he was phenomenal. He really stood out. I'm sure I'll leave somebody out, because we've had some great backs here, but I don't remember a back in recent history that was as impressive on their conditioning test as that guy was. He was phenomenal."

Even with all of the talent returning to the team this year, the Tigers will depend heavily on Fournette to be great and it sounds like he might be even better than his 1,953 rushing yards and 22 touchdowns on 300 carries last season. Get ready for a lot of Fournette highlights and love this season.
