Kirk Herbstreit calls out Troy player after lewd gestures following LSU game

Herbstreit was not having it.

Count Kirk Herbstreit among those who weren't thrilled with the actions of Troy wide receiver Alvin Bryant after their win over LSU.

Herbstreit praised Troy for the 24-21 win, but called out Bryant specifically for his "embarrassing" actions on the sidelines afterwards.

While on the sidelines at the end of the game, Bryant grabbed himself and flipped off the fans in celebration of the win. Bryant has since apologized.

"I apologize to everyone who witnessed the inappropriate actions that I displayed on the sideline during our game at LSU on Saturday. I accept full responsibility for my actions and whatever consequences come from them. To the Troy University community and the entire Trojan fan base, I'm sorry for embarrassing the Troy uniform during what was a historic win for this football program."

Troy coach Neil Brown hinted that Bryant would be facing internal discipline for the gestures. It is unclear if he will face any suspension, and we will not know until Troy's next game on Oct. 11 South Alabama.
