Les Miles has never made it a secret that he wants to coach again.

Throughout the offseason, Miles reiterated that he wanted to eventually return to the sidelines when his name was linked to several college football broadcasting gigs.
That hasn't changed even after eventually accepting an on-air job with FOX Sports and contributing to ESPN's opening weekend, according to a talk he had with ESPN's Chris Low.
According to Low, Miles told him he wants to coach again said this:
No question @CoachLesMiles wants to coach again. "I think there's a right opportunity out there for me in football. That's who I am."

There will likely be several opportunities available next offseason, especially in the SEC, Miles' former conference. Tennessee, Arkansas, Ole Miss and others could potentially be facing coaching searches toward the end of the season.
Coincidentally, Miles live tweeted the Vols' season opener, which included a series of tweets that seemed like he was (maybe) campaigning for the job...if not for wishful thinking.

Miles currently holds a 141-55 coaching record, which includes a national championship in 2007, two SEC titles (2007, 2011) and three SEC West division championships (2005, 2007, 2011).
Surely, someone will take a look at the Mad Hatter this offseason and college football will be better for it.
