In order for Florida to book a trip to Atlanta for the second straight year and earn the right to get trampled by Alabama in the SEC Championship Game, the Gators need a win today or an unlikely Tennessee loss to Missouri. Well, it's looking like the former might be more of a reality than people think.

LSU might have just become a little easier to face on defense as it star running back Leonard Fournette is not looking likely to play.

That's leaves Derrius Guice as the starter at running back for the Tigers and while he has rushed for 881 yards this season —- he's also averaging 8.72 yards a carry —- he is still not quite as strong or powerful as Fournette. It also means there aren't any real backups so coach Orgeron might not take the risk of handing the ball off to Guice three out of every four downs and that leaves some chances for Florida's excellent secondary to make some plays.
The game is a noon kickoff and could very well decide if Florida goes to Atlanta and if Orgeron becomes the permanent head coach in Baton Rouge.
