LSU got some excellent news as it prepares for Wisconsin game

LSU won't be without a key offensive line starter in Saturday's opener against Wisconsin like previously thought.

LSU won't be without a key starter in today's opener at Lambeau Field as previously thought. Will Clapp, a starting offensive guard, will play in the Tigers's opener today according to NOLA.com.

Clapp was wearing a walking boot on Friday as a result of a turf toe injury, but a source told the site it won't keep him on the sidelines today against Wisconsin. He was shown wearing a boot in an image posted on Instagram yesterday.

Clapp started in 12 games last year as a redshirt freshman and recorded 88 knockdown blocks.
