Busch last served as the co-defensive coordinator and defensive backs coach for the Rutgers Scarlet Knights.
This isn't where his experience coaching ends. He also had stints with Ohio State, Wisconsin, Utah State and Nebraska.
Busch worked with LSU defensive coordinator Dave Aranda while with Wisconsin. LSU's defensive main man seems excited.
"Bill is a consummate pro, who can scheme, coach technique and recruit. We are looking forward to getting him down here." Aranda said via a statement the school. "On top of all of that, he is a great guy."
Here is the Busch portion of the statement:
"It's a huge honor and opportunity to coach at a place like LSU and in the Southeastern Conference. Coach O is building something really special. It's equally exciting to reunite with coach Aranda and work with coach Corey Raymond. I can't wait to be a part of DBU."
With National Signing Day over, but spring football quickly approaching, fully expect things on the college football front to begin calming down — relatively speaking, of course.
