LSU legend says team may quit on Les Miles if he doesn't do this one thing

Hot fire from the former player!

There are plenty of people upset about LSU's offense this season considering it's only averaging 24 points a game and has played the likes of Jacksonville State and a now-overrated Wisconsin team. A lot of it has to do with the passing game which is second-worst in the conference at 129 yards per game.

Junior quarterback Brandon Harris still has not developed as far along as he should have by now and that's upsetting most fans. After two bad series to start the game against JSU, coach Les Miles pulled Harris in favor of Purdue transfer Danny Etling. He immediately threw a 46-yard touchdown to DeSean Smith and the offense seemed to come alive.

On a Baton Rouge ESPN affiliated radio station, former LSU lineman Booger McFarland called out Miles and said that there is one thing he has to do on Saturday if he doesn't want his team quitting on him.

While Etling didn't look all that great after that first TD throw, McFarland is convinced that there is one truth we know about him.

Harris was caught tweeting at another former Tiger in Tyron Johnson —- now with Oklahoma State —- and talking about maybe transferring. McFarland had an answer for that too and it shouldn't be a surprise:

In two years at Purdue, Etling completed just over 55 percent of his passes with 2,490 yards, 16 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.
