Earlier this week, it was announced that quarterback Anthony Jennings would transfer from LSU, and that the school would grant him his release.
On Thursday, Jennings posted a touching goodbye message to the LSU faithful.

The message reads:
I want to give a special thank you to LSU and giving me the opportunity to play the game I love and also giving me the opportunity to earn a college degree. So many memories from hearing the fans roar on that 99 yard drive against Arkansas to beating UF in The Swamp. I want to thank the coaches, my teammates, and Tiger Nation for the great time I've had here. Best of luck to all the great teammates and life long friends I've made here. I will always be an LSU Tiger. Forever LSU. ??
Jennings is supposed to graduate in the spring, meaning he should be eligible to play anywhere in 2016 as a graduate transfer.
