Shane Gillis takes tourists on 'tailgate safari' in epic Bud Light ad

Shane Gillis has partnered with Bud Light for yet another incredible TV spot. This time, he's taking tourists on a "tailgate safari" through Tiger country.

The two-minute ad features the comedian driving a cart through an empty parking lot. His purpose remains unknown until one of the tourists makes an outraged proclamation.

"You said there would be tailgaters here!" the woman said.

"I said there could be tailgaters here," Gillis responded while dressed in Bud Light safari gear. He then attempted to appease the frustrated tourists by cracking open a Bud Light cooler to grab some bait.

After multiple calls, the bushes started rustling. Eventually, an LSU Tigers fan stuck his head out into the open, much to the delight of the tourists on the cart. More and more tailgaters began walking up to the cart and the tourists, drawn in by the calls for Bud Light.

Unfortunately for one of the tourists, they lost a loved one during this safari. A man named Jeff disappeared from the cart in all of the excitement. He appeared over by a pair of wild tailgaters cooking burgers on a charcoal grill.

"Yeah, he's not coming back," Gillis said. "He's happier here. Look, they've already taken him in. See, guys? Nature's beautiful.

"Sorry you lost your husband," the comedian added, "but you did sign a waiver."

This appearance at an LSU Tigers tailgate is far from the only college-themed Bud Light commercial featuring Gillis. He has also filmed a TV spot while wearing gear for the Texas Longhorns. This particular commercial featured fellow comedians Tommy Pope and Joe DeRosa.

Fitting timing considering that college football season is in full swing.

Of course, one of the most memorable Gillis/Bud Lights spots featured him in the role of a college coach.

He had to stand by as one of his players faced accusations of plagiarism from the dean. In order to help the player — and score some free beer — Gillis started off a round of confessions. "Tires" co-creator Steve Gerben also joined in on the commercial to make some confessions of his own.
