The nation's top prospect may have added another team of interest

This is a huge change of plans.

It appears the resurgence of LSU's offense under interim head coach Ed Orgeron has drawn the attention of the nation's No. 1 prospect, five-star quarterback Trevor Lawrence.

Since former head coach Les Miles was fired and Orgeron took over in the interim, the Tigers offense has looked like a juggernaut, running to a 3-0 record and averaging over 40 points per game.

Lawrence was originally slated to check out Saturday's Michigan State game, but those plans have changed, per 247sports.

According to the report, Lawrence will now head to Baton Rouge next Saturday morning. The week after, he'll reportedly make a trip to Athens to see Georgia take on Auburn.

Lawrence's Crystal Ball projection has him landing at Georgia, and LSU is currently not on his radar, but it certainly bodes well for the Tigers.

If Orgeron's work as head coach hasn't been noticed by the school's athletic director and decision makers above, it should at this point.
