LSU fans, you have at least one newcomer to be excited about this upcoming season.
Released on Twitter early on Tuesday was this video of four-star wide receiver Drake Davis, who is currently signed to the Tigers. The point of the video is obvious: Davis is extremely fast and he is here to prove it by running a — reported — 4.38 in the 40-yard dash.
Not a lot of guys are able to crack the 4.4 on the 40, so this puts Davis in the elite category for all NCAA players when it comes to speed.
Will he be able to excel at the next level? That much is left to be seen, but with that speed and a 6-foot-4, 220 pound frame, he definitely has the tools to become a great player for LSU.
