No. 6 LSU has an embarrassment of riches at halfback this season; Leonard Fournette is well on his way to running away with the Heisman Trophy and they have at least a couple tailbacks behind him who could play in the NFL one day.
One of those HBs is freshman Derrius Guice who did his best Marshawn Lynch impression in LSU's 45-24 win over South Carolina Saturday, in a clip posted by The LSU Logo.
The 5-foot-11, 222-pound athlete broke three tackles before he passed the line of scrimmage, before picking up 25 yards on the play. Guice finished the game with 161 yards and a touchdown on just 13 carries, outpacing his superstar counterpart by three yards on seven less carries.
If Les Miles keeps getting this kind of production from not one but two HBs, the Tigers will have a better shot than most at a spot in the College Football Playoff.
