Former LSU offensive tackle Willie Allen may not be transferring to TCU, but the former four-star recruit is still transferring out of Baton Rouge and he's headed to Tyler Junior College in Texas, per Ross Dellenger of the Advocate.
Rather than transferring to another D-1 program, Allen went the JUCO route so he didn't have to miss another season of football this fall.
Allen had options, as Baylor, TCU, UCLA and other big-time programs were reportedly pursuing him after his decision to transfer from LSU.
Still, the situation got messy, as LSU blocked Allen originally from transferring to the TCU because, reportedly, there was illegal contact between Allen and TCU from LSU's point of view.

After being released from his scholarship, Allen couldn't transfer to another SEC school or TCU, but he was still expected to transfer to another big-time program.
Allen will now get the opportunity to play right away for Tyler, and, later on, will be able to reopen his recruitment as he works to get his college career back on track.
