The Tide had struggled to a 10-3 lead in the second quarter when Marlon Humphrey brought down a deflected pass and found a way to return the interception for a touchdown extending the Bama lead to 17-3.
Alabama wouldn't look back after the pick-six and would destroy USC, 52-6
